Cancer Research will be closing its Hazel Grove and Stockport town centre charity shops in May 2026.
It's part of a wave of closures from the high street chain, with 200 shops set to shut across the country.
The charity said inflation pressures and changing consumer habits meant 'many' of their shops risked becoming unprofitable.
"A smaller, high-performing retail operation will mean we will fund more life-saving cancer research and better serve our customers, staff and volunteers", a spokesperson said.
"This news will be difficult. Our decisions have been taken after serious consideration.
"We're committed to supporting everyone affected by these changes, and will provide clear information and support throughout the process."
After the closures, there will be 320 Cancer Research shops left open across the UK.
