Residents from Bramhall and beyond should get ready to don their boots and hats for a country music festival this summer.

The 'Bramhall Hoedown' will take place on Saturday 20 July in Village Square from 4pm, and will feature food, live music, and some immersive dress and decor to bring the American South to this corner of Stockport borough.

Local favourite the Honey Pot will be providing food and drink, with a range of traditional Polish beers and vodkas on offer to bring a Central European twist to proceedings.

Providing the music will be the Honey Pot's very own Andy Smith - tunes will start a little while after opening, at 5.30pm.

Visitors can expect old and new classics from the likes of Luke Combs, Kenny Rogers, Glen Campbell, Brooks & Dunn, Cody Johnson, and more.

Andy also has his own record label, with a new album out soon.

It's anticipated that this will be a popular event, with footfall not just around Village Square, but throughout Bramhall too.

Don't forget to bring your hat and boots!
