Bramhall has welcomed a new pottery studio in Village Square.

'Ceramics & Chill' opened on 20 July, on the site of Crookiley Toys Emporium (which has relocated to Crookiley Crafts).

Almost two weeks after opening, the shop has had a bustling few days and rave reviews from customers.

The new studio aims to be a relaxed environment for people to start, renew, or continue a pottery hobby.

It features all the necessary equipment; from the basics like clay and paint, through to specialist equipment such as a kiln and a pottery wheel. There will also be pre-made ceramic items on sale, for those looking for homeware or perhaps for some little trinkets.

As well as guided classes led by experienced teachers, Ceramics & Chill also has membership options whereby visitors can simply drop in whenever the studio is open, and work on their own projects. It means that people can get creative on their own terms, but with the added benefit of access to all of the studio's top facilities and specialist materials.

Owner Zoe also emphasises that anybody is welcome to come in and simply 'see what's going on'; that is to say, you don't have to commit to classes right away, nor is there a strict regimen of events which visitors must adhere to!

The door is always open for creatives of all ages. Open days are also in the pipeline for those looking for a bit of a pottery taster.

Some courses are available to book now - find a full list HERE.

You can also find more information on the Ceramics & Chill Facebook page.
