An Asian food market which was due to be set up in Stockport town centre this Saturday has been forced to reschedule.
Due to an adverse weather forecast for this weekend, the EatGoodWest food market will now take place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October.
This weekend - Saturday 4th - will see chilly minimum temperatures of 10 degrees with intermittent showers and 37mph winds, as Storm Amy batters the UK.
Instead, visitors can look forward to a more mild weekend from the 10th to the 11th.
EatGoodWest will set up at St Mary's Church from 5-10pm on Friday 10 October, and at the Merseyway Centre from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 11 October.
In the words of the organisers, visitors will be able to 'experience the enchantment of the Moon Festival', with not just delicious Asian food, but also lantern painting and creative crafts, a giant moon installation for photos, fun workshops, live music and vibrant performances, Moon Festival traditions and more.
And it's free entry!
