More breweries have been confirmed to appear at Stockport's annual Beer and Cider Festival.

The festival makes a welcome return to the Masonic Guildhall this year, in what will be its 37th iteration.

Run by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), it will run from Thursday 19 - Saturday 21 June, and will feature more than 250 different beers, ciders and perries from around the world.

Around 60 breweries are represented across four beer bars and a dedicated cider bar. There's also an international bottle bar showcasing a diverse selection of beers and ciders, including lagers and imperial stouts.

There will even be some Home Brew competition winners, all commercially made at local breweries such as Marble and Torrside.

Like last year, visitors can also expect food and live entertainment throughout the event, as well as some CAMRA merchandise stalls.

What with the balmy summer weather, there will also be comfortable seating and a large outdoor gazebo.

Tickets are available now, with an early doors package available for £16.50.

One of the organisers for the event said: "We'll have more than 160 different beers and 60 different ciders for you to try by the pint half or even a third at the 2025 Stockport Beer Festival.

"But if that's not enough, there'll also be delicious food, live music and even a beer garden for you to soak up the sun (fingers crossed). Join us at The Stockport Guildhall between the 19th and 21st of June."

The festival is known for its friendly atmosphere, and also welcomes families until 8:30 pm. Several independent stalls and entertainment are planned; more details will be shared as they become available.
