Stockport's Merseyway shopping centre announces Easter opening hours

Merseyway shopping centre in Stockport town centre has confirmed its Easter opening hours.

Hours for the key Easter dates are as follows:

  • Friday 18 April (Good Friday) - 10.30am - 4.30pm
  • Sunday 20 April (Easter Sunday) - CLOSED
  • Monday 21 April (Easter Monday bank holiday) - 10.30am - 4.30pm

On Friday 18th and Monday 21st, individual store hours may vary.

Other than the aforementioned dates, Merseyway hours are as normal. That is to say, 9am until 5.30pm from Monday to Saturday, and 10am-4.30pm on Sundays.

Shortly after Easter Weekend will be the Morris Day of Dance on Saturday 26 April, taking place across Merseyway and the town centre. It's expected to attract more than 1,000 Morris dancers from across the country.

"This unmissable event promises to be the biggest, boldest and most bell-clanging gathering the North West has ever seen", a Merseyway spokesperson said.
