Stockport restaurant Little Lanka wins big at National Curry Awards

Little Lanka, a Stockport-based restaurant, has picked up a prize at the Nation's Curry Awards 2025.
The eatery was named 'Sri Lankan restaurant of the year' at a ceremony in Manchester on 17 February.
Little Lanka specialises in the light, fragrant dishes of Sri Lanka, and is praised for its 'excellent' food and its wide-ranging vegan menu.
As well as the plaudits from the curry awards judges, Little Lanka also occupies the number seven spot for best restaurants in Stockport, according to TripAdvisor.
It also has a 4.6 star rating on Google Reviews.
A description reads: "Far from Sri Lankan Shores, a traditional taste is hard to come by. Here at Little Lanka, we provide a mouthwatering dining experience with a little bit of culture, a little bit of spice and loads of fun."
It's based at 238 Wellington Road South, with varied opening times throughout the week (closed on Tuesdays).
