Stockport gardeners to exhibit at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show

A number of Stopfordians will be exhibiting at this weekend's RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, including a show garden, school gardens, and more.

Stockport, then, will be on the map at this prestigious event based in Tatton Park near Knutsford, running from 19-23 July.

The show will see a range of garden categories, each showcasing remarkable horticultural talent. The RHS shows are perhaps most famous for their show gardens, which 'demonstrate the best in horticultural design'.

Yet there are also categories for floral installations, botanical design, and plant villages, to name just a few.

If you're planning a trip to the Knutsford end of Cheshire yourself, here are the Stockport exhibitors to keep an eye out for.

Lex Falleyn, show manager for RHS Tatton Park, said: "Our goal for RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2023 was to shine a light on local talent and community causes."

A description on the RHS website reads: "Set in the spectacular grounds of Tatton Park in Cheshire, the show is the perfect summer's day out for the whole family.

"You can explore the family trail, see beautiful gardens in bloom, tuck into delicious food, and head to our exciting workshops for hands-on fun while learning something new – great for little ones and adults."
