A new temporary roof has been completed at the Railway End in Edgeley Park.
The Railway End previously had no roof at all - the new structure will protect fans from the elements and aims to provide 'an improved visitor experience'.
This stand will primarily be used to house away fans for the 2025/26 season. However, the new layout also means home fans have better access to the Popside, helping to create a more connected, "horseshoe" feel to Edgeley Park on matchdays.
The roof was introduced to comply with the English Football League's rules on stadium capacity - at least 20 percent of seats for away fans must be under some kind of cover.
Gavin Bailey, chief operating officer at County, said the club were 'delighted' with the new roof.
"It represents a significant improvement for fans behind the goal and for how we operate on matchdays", he said.
"The new structure provides shelter from poor weather, creates a better atmosphere, and allows for improved segregation and direct access from the away coach park. Alongside the introduction of a dedicated away fan bar, these changes combine to deliver a much better experience for visiting supporters.
"Whilst this is a temporary solution, it's an important step in our ongoing plans to develop Edgeley Park. We're continuing to invest in the stadium's infrastructure to ensure it reflects the ambition of the club and provides the best possible environment for all supporters."
