Stepping Hill Hospital's children's garden re-opens with 'colourful' refurbishment

The garden at Stepping Hill Hospital's children's unit has re-opened following a colourful refurbishment.
The garden at The Treehouse Ward now features a play area, model animals, seating and other facilities, all for the young patients and their families to enjoy.
It was funded with a gift donation from Warden Construction Ltd and Meel Group, organised through the Stockport NHS Charity.

Kate Leadbeater, Charity Manager for Stockport NHS Charity, described it as "an extremely generous gift.
"We would like to send our most heartfelt thanks to Wardens Construction Ltd and Meel Group", she added. "This garden upgrade for our Treehouse Children's Unit is appreciated greatly.
"This bright appealing outdoor space is so important as it helps provide a great distraction for our young patients to play and have fun, all helping to reduce anxiety."
