Mind Body Spirit Event | Stockport Masonic Guildhall | Sat 6 - Sun 7 September | 10am-6pm

A popular event in Stockport's events calendar is returning this weekend.

The Mind Body Spirit event will take place from 6-7 September.

A description for this event reads: "This event is designed to fully mesh with this genre, a great vibration, cultivated over a period of years bringing together like-minded people where you can feel at one, be at one, and just be imbued by the natural healing elements, whilst having an opportunity to try some of the many unique therapies that are featured at the event.

These enable you to support in your own self-care regimes. This is becoming increasingly important; in fact, it's never been so important as it is right now.

"So come along and join this uplifting social spiritual experience. It can very much be an educational and fun experience, too. This event endeavours to raise your spirits and lift your heart."

Quartet by Ronald Harwood | Chads Theatre, Cheadle Hulme | 6-13 September

Quartet is a delightful comedy about four aging opera singers who now live in a retirement home for musicians and singers.

What to do when your supreme talent is waning, when you can no longer reach the top notes? This play is funny and witty and poignant as it examines the problems of aging but demonstrates that love and humour and ingenuity are ever lasting.

This amateur production of "Quartet" is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk.
