The approach to the M60 at Junction 1 in a clockwise direction is facing up to an hour of delays, National Highways has said.

It follows an incident this morning which saw two lanes of the M60 closed off.

While the lanes have now been re-opened, there is around six miles of congestion on the approach to the two M60 lanes.

National Highways have said that recovery services are on the scene, and advised that drivers allow extra travel time for their journeys.
