The shortlist for the Stockport Business Awards was announced today (11 July).

There are around 100 entrants across 13 categories, with awards ranging from best food business, most innovative, best employer, and more.

Judging took place on 5 July, and involved 'many hours of discussion and debate'.

The Italian - a restaurant based in Romiley - has been shortlisted for the Taste of Stockport award, after having already won at the Made in Stockport awards a few weeks prior.

Totally Stockport is up for the Stockport Award, after its involvement in a number of high-profile events this year, including Krazy Races.

The panel comprised representatives from CN Chartered Accountants (the organisers of the award), headline sponsors Gorvins Solicitors, Stockport Borough Council, Dawn, and representatives from the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner which will take place on Thursday 5th October at Edgeley Park, with tickets due to go on sale soon. For more information, visit the Stockport Business Awards website HERE.
