Sex Pistols legend Glen Matlock will be coming to Stockport for a special live performance.

The show takes place on 16 May 2025 at Holy Diver, Stockport's new alternative music venue at 1 Prince's Street.

Adult tickets are available for £18. Find tickets here.

Glen will be performing with a full live band, featuring Neal X, Jim Lowe, and Chris Musto.

Holy Diver owner Joe Patten said it was 'pretty huge' news for Stockport and the venue.

"This is going to be one hell of an intimate show and tickets will not hang around long!", he said on social media.

"How often do you get to see a Sex pistol in Stockport after all?"

Glen Matlock rose to fame as the bass guitarist in the original lineup of the Sex Pistols.

He is credited as a songwriter on 10 of the 12 songs on the Sex Pistols' first and only officially released studio album.

He also joined the band on various reunion tours around the world.

Holy Diver - based at 1 Prince's Street - opened on 29 November, and has already hosted some top gigs and events with plenty more in the pipeline.

It specialises in heavy music - punk, grunge, metal, heavy rock and more, from both local and touring bands.

Once again, you can get your Glen Matlock tickets here.
