The Co-op branch in Poynton could be set for an internal refurbishment following an application to Cheshire East Council.

The Co-op food group seeks a variation to its premises licence for the store, whereby shelves, units and tills will be removed, relocated and replaced.

According to the application, "the variation will have no adverse effect on the promotion of any of the licensing objectives".

Those looking to make a representation regarding this application should do so by midnight on 18 January 2024. They should be sent in writing, either by email to [email protected] or via letter to the Cheshire East Council municipal buildings in Crewe.
