A popular café and sandwich shop in Bredbury has been sold, subject to a contract.

Bread-Brie, on Higher Bents Lane, closed recently due to the owner's family comments.

Sovereign Business Transfer - the business brokers behind the sale - described the site as "a lucrative opportunity to any new entrepreneur".

The estimated annual turnover of the business is £72,800, with a sale price of £19,950.

Now under a new owner, the business has 'vast scope to expand', with a 4* food-hygiene rating and the prospect of outside catering.

Sovereign Business Transfer adds: "The area boasts numerous independent shops and businesses. This particular area of Bredbury is popular with the local community and significant passing trade makes this business sought after.

"Deliveroo and Uber Eats are already in place, and therefore extending the opening hours will further enhance the profitability."
