Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is continuing to carry out 'reassurance' patrols following the attack on Heaton Park synagogue on Thursday 2 October.
Officers have been patrolling places of worship across Greater Manchester, with a particular focus within Jewish communities in the area.
Police have made 16,000 visits to all places of worship. They say they've also spoken with community leaders, worshippers, and other members of the public.
A spokesperson for GMP said: "We're grateful and humbled for the thanks and appreciation from the public to our officers who have shown dedication to keeping our streets safe with 12-hour shifts and cancelled rest days.
"Our priority is keeping you safe and helping you feel safe in your communities.
"As we move back towards more regular resourcing, we remain committed to ensuring our communities – particularly the Jewish community – continue to be in the forefront of our plans to keep the public safe."
