Police appeal for information following serious assault in Stockport Market Place

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are appealing for information following a serious assault in Market Place in Stockport town centre.
The incident, which took place on Thursday 2 April, left the victim with severe injuries to their face.
They also has some personal items damaged.
The assault took place around 11.35am
Officers would like to speak with the man pictured, who they believe can assist with enquiries.
Anybody with information should call police on 101, quoting reference number CRI/06JJ/0005797/26.
