Police are appealing for information after a woman was injured in a collision in Bredbury on Monday 6 October.
A woman was leaving a vehicle which she'd parked on the kerb on Stockport Road West when it was struck by another vehicle.
Emergency services attended the scene around 3.50pm.
Although the woman sustained serious injuries, they were thankfully not life-threatening or changing.
The driver who had hit the parked car did not stay at the scene, and no arrests have been made.
Police are now appealing for information to help find that driver.
The car is described as a Black Vauxhall hatchback, believed to be a 2020 model onwards. The vehicle will have front nearside wing damage, and would have had a missing nearside wing mirror.
Greater Manchester Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or has CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from around the time.
You can contact police via 101 or our Live Chat service at gmp.police.uk, quoting log 2248 of 06/10/25.
Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
