No serious injuries following Nando's crash in Stockport

Police have confirmed that nobody was seriously injured following a collision near the Peel Centre yesterday (Monday 30 June).

Around 5.20pm, two vehicles were involved in a collision - one of the vehicles was sent crashing into the Nando's Restaurant on Great Portwood Street.

Emergency services including police, fire and ambulances attended the scene.

The westbound route along the road was blocked off as emergency responders made the area safe.

The road is now re-open.

No arrests were made following the collision.
