New 'little library' opens in Hazel Grove

A new 'little library' has opened in Hazel Grove.
This little bookbank is based at the George & Dragon pub on London Road, and serves as a place where residents and visitors can take or drop off books.
It was opened by Cllr Suzanne Wyatt, Mayor of Stockport, on Saturday 26 April.
You'd be amazed at what you can find at these little libraries - anything from recent bestsellers to hefty academic tomes. It's a great way to save money and to find new interests.
The Little Library was funded by volunteers from Hazel Grove Mutual Aid (HGMA).
Rachel McDonald from HGMA said: "I would like to thank everyone involved in setting up this Little Library.
"EMERGE: Touch Wood who built the library, Julian Homer for the superb engraving, and the George & Dragon Pub for hosting it. This library is for the whole community and we hope will spread the joy of reading for years to come."
