A new shop specialising in health foods has opened in the Merseyway Shopping Centre.

Grape Tree, a major national retailer, has now opened a shop in the covered mall, next to Barrhead Travel.

It stocks a huge range of organic and vegan health foods, including supplements, fruits, nuts, seeds, vitamins, and more.

It's open every day of the week, from 9am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am-4.30pm on Sunday.

This Stockport store represents the newest addition to the Grape Tree estate, which comprises 177 branches across the country.

The Grape Tree website promises "a great range of health foods and wellbeing products offering you value, quality and choice in store".

"Buy whole foods and superfoods, including our own 100% Organic range", it continues.

"Plus, healthy and nutritious snacks such as nuts, dried fruits, and seeds. Our walnuts are a real food source. Browse organic, free from, raw, and vegan product ranges.

"Our range also extends to personal care and beauty, minerals, vitamins and supplements."
