A new Costa cafe will be opening at the Sainsbury's in Hazel Grove.

This Sainsbury's is one among 14 across the country which will be getting new Costas this year.

An official date is yet to be confirmed, but the new cafe is expected to open before the end of 2026.

It comes after the Hazel Grove Sainsbury's closed its original cafe in April 2025.

Costa has just opened its 50th Sainsbury's in-store cafe in Leicester.

Tom Falk, head of property at Costa Coffee said the chain was "incredibly proud" to be opening the new stores.

"This milestone is a testament to the strength of our partnership and our shared commitment to bringing great coffee experiences to communities across the UK", Mr Falk said.

Costa is a major international coffeehouse chain, with more than 4,000 stores in more than 30 different countries.

According to The Sun, it is the nation's favourite cafe chain by far, with around 50 percent of surveyed visitors singling it out as their favourite.
