Winners have been announced for the 2024 Made in Stockport awards, after a ceremony at Heaton Moor's Savoy cinema.

The awards run every year, and aim to celebrate the huge range of businesses across Stockport borough. All manner of businesses, from food, crafts, independent shops and more competed across nine categories.

The shortlist was chosen from 200 nominations, all made by residents across the borough.

Local residents then voted on the shortlisted businesses.

More than 7,000 votes were cast in total, beating the figure for last year's awards, which was around 6,000.

Former BBC Radio Manchester and Key 103 presenter Chelsea Norris hosted the awards, herself the owner of Minnie and Teds, a Bramhall-based interior design and homeware business.

The chosen charity for this year was Signpost for Carers Stockport. The awards raised £600 for the charity through ticket sales.
