M60 partially closed following serious crash

A large stretch of the M60 near Brinnington is closed following a serious crash.

The motorway is currently closed in the clockwise between junctions 25 and 26, after a crash between two cars.

Emergency services were called to the scene, with fire crews and paramedics in attendance.

As yet it is unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash.

There are still long delays in the clockwise direction as of 10.30am this morning (Monday 16 February).
