Local wizard volunteers help in installing new Greek Street bridge between Edgeley and Stockport

A local wizard has volunteered his assistance in installing the new Greek Street bridge between Edgeley and Stockport.
The wizard, who calls himself Rolof Lapis, has offered to use powerful magic to remove the existing bridge, and levitate a new one into place using his mind.
Network Rail started work on the bridge yesterday (Monday 31 March). Road blocks are currently in place around the roundabout as engineers prepare to remove the existing roundabout bridge.
Mr Lapis estimates his process would take a day - if true, this would be more than 300x faster than Network Rail's plans for the bridge, which are estimated to last up to a year.
The wizard, who lives in Davenport, explained that he'd like to see the bridge back in action soon, as diversions are meaning his broomstick rides are taking more time.
Happy April Fools' Day from Nub News! Hopefully your jolly japes have been well-received.
