The much-loved mainstay of the underbanks, Huffy's at the Three Shires, is due to re-open on 1 July this year, after undergoing refurbishment.

A post on social media states: "The much-loved Huffy's at the Three Shires will have a grand re-opening on Saturday 1 July.

"There will be a live band, DJ, and free food, so please come and join us from 5pm.

"Our regular opening times will be Monday to Sunday from 12pm until late, where we will be serving the finest cooked fresh food including Stockport's best Sunday lunch."

Stockport Nub News have reached out to the owners for comment.

The Three Shires is a grade II listed building, built around 1580 as a townhouse.

The shopfront was inserted in 1824.

In its long history, the building has been a confectioners, bakery, surgery, and solicitors.
