GMP Stockport search for key witness following attempted robbery

Stockport Neighbourhood Crime Team are appealing for information following an attempted robbery on Monday 15 May in Edgeley.  

"We are specifically looking to speak to a member of the public who entered the Sir Robert Peel Hotel on Castle Street at approximately 5.55pm on 15 May", Greater Manchester Police Stockport said on social media.  

"This person was walking a small dog and wearing a red zipped up hooded jacket. We believe they may be able to assist us with further enquiries.  

"If this is you, please get in touch via 101 quoting 2586 of 15/05/23 or contact us by email at [email protected] ."

The Sir Rober Peel is opposite Boots on Castle Street, Edgeley's high street.
