A former office building in Hazel Grove is being transformed into 19 new apartments.

The development, named 'Hazelgate', is located at the junction of Chester Road and London Road (A6), in the heart of Hazel Grove.

The project is being delivered by award-winning Cheshire-based property developer SATIS Group, which focuses on transforming underused buildings into high-quality residential and commercial spaces across the North West.

The building, previously used as a solicitor's office, is being repurposed to provide much-needed new homes in a well-connected area close to local shops, amenities and transport links, helping to bring a vacant site back into active use.

The scheme will deliver 19 modern apartments with a contemporary finish, alongside improved energy performance to meet current standards, contributing to the area's ongoing regeneration.

HJK Construction is carrying out the building works on site, delivering the conversion and refurbishment of the existing structure.

A spokesperson for SATIS Group said: "We identified this as a strong opportunity to bring an underused building back into active use and deliver high-quality homes in Hazel Grove. Projects like this allow us to breathe new life into existing buildings while contributing to the local area."

SATIS Group has a number of other projects across the region. It continues to expand its portfolio, and is open to similar opportunities within the locality of Stockport and Hazel Grove.

The development is expected to be completed in January 2026.
