Fresh from a parade around Stockport town centre, the League Two trophy will make its way around the borough as part of a tour this weekend.

Club chairman Steve Bellis has announced a detailed schedule for when and where the trophy will be this weekend (Fri 3 - Mon 6 May). Mr Bellis also outlined a few details for the following weekends.

As for the immediate few days, the trophy begins its tour today around the town centre. As of time of writing, it has just finished a visit at Manchester Children's Hospital, and will soon be on its way to some town centre bars and pubs.

On Saturday it will complete a whistle stop tour of Edgeley pubs, whilst on Sunday it will tour the town centre before moving onto Bollington near Macclesfield.

On Monday, the trophy returns to Stockport, this time calling at pubs in and around historic Market Place.

Next weekend, it will call at Bredbury, Offerton, Hazel Grove, and Hillgate / Underbanks.

In a social media post announcing the schedule, Mr Bellis said: "Please do not hold us to exact timings but we will do our best to get as close to them as we can."
