Much-loved takeaway to re-open in Romiley after 18 years

A much-loved eatery is returning to Romiley after 18 years.
Dawat Tandoori is hosting a grand opening on Wednesday 7 May at 48 Stockport Road from 5-11pm.
Originally established in 1992, Dawat Tandoori specialises in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine - highlights on the menu include butter chicken, korma, tikka, tandoori chicken, and more.
And as part of the grand opening, the business will be giving away free food.
There are three free curries to choose from, with the added option of upgrading to a meal for £4 which comes with rice, naan and onion bhaji.
The three curries are lamb karahi, chicken tikka masala, and chicken rogan josh. Note that the food is collection only.
Dawat Tandoori was originally established in 1992 and quickly became a staple of the Romiley high street.
Popular foodie social media star Liam Marley Eats has already called at Dawat, and said: "don't mis out, because this one's gonna be good".
