A 26-year-old dad-to-be stabbed security staff at a bar in Stockport in what was supposed to be a gender reveal celebration.

Luke Allman was celebrating the reveal of his child's gender at what was formerly Bask in Stockport town centre, before the night took a violent turn.

After having taken cocaine and drunk 10 pints, Allman had stood in the 'no service' area of the bar, claiming that he had been waiting there for a long time.

Staff asked him to leave, and he was ultimately 'violently' ejected from the bar.

However, barely a quarter of an hour later, he returned to the venue with a knife and said he was "going to kill everyone".

One doorman was stabbed and said he doesn't want to return to door work as he now fears for his safety.

Another woman who worked as a bouncer was admitted to psychiatric hospital for two weeks after the incident.

Allman was sentenced to nine years in jail, pleading guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent - among other offences including possession of a flick knife.
