Stockport Council has announced that it is changing the way residents view and manage council tax, business rates, and benefits online.

As a result of this change, online access to Council Tax, business rates and benefits information will no longer be possible through the 'My Account' section.

In My Account you can still:

  • Check when your next bin collection is and download your waste calendar
  • View or manage appointments and bin deliveries
  • Keep track of faulty street lights, lit signs or bollards you've reported
  • Reset/change your password
  • Change your email address
  • Change your address to view bins information

Residents should check their inbox for two emails from [email protected], containing a new username and password and further details on how to access council tax, business rates and benefits.
