A Cheadle business rubbed shoulders with the likes of Microsoft and Matillion at a prestigious business festival in June.

Sensory Box Surprise Ltd exhibited at the New Century Hall in Manchester, along with a host of other local and national businesses.

The aim of the festival was to showcase self-employed businesspeople and their potential to "revolutionise the local economy and their own finances".

Sensory Box Surprise offers boxes of toys for young children, with a subscription service.

Director Sarah Kneale explains: "Sensory Box Surprise is an online, sensory toy business. The award-winning My Sensory Journey Subscription provides families with age and stage appropriate sensory toys to meet their age and stage of development.

"I set up the company a couple of years ago. The opportunity to be a part of the event allowed me to meet with other small businesses and discuss my business with them, as well as learn about other business journeys."

Well done, Sarah!
