The Campaign for Real Ale's annual Stockport pub crawl is returning this December.

Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA will be hosting this event on Friday 20 December. The crawl - or 'stagger' as it has come to be known - starts at The Blossoms in Heaviley at 7.30pm.

Participants work their way from The Blossoms, down the A6 and finishing up at Market Place in the town centre.

A mid-point along the route is the Sun and Castle on Hillgate at 8.30pm.

This particular event has been running for decades, and remains the branch's longest-running event.

And participants don't have to join the stagger for the duration if they don't want to; CAMRA invites visitors to 'come and go as they please' - whether you're just after a quick drink at one of the pubs, or if you're in for the duration!
