Brace yourselves, NBA. Stockport Council has submitted plans for new basketball courts in Bredbury recreation ground.
The plans feature three courts - one is designed as a three-versus-three space, measuring 18.1 metres by 14 metres.
Adjacent to this will be two back-to-back singles courts, one with a full-sized hoop and another with a junior-sized hoop.
These back-to-back courts would measure 18.1 metres by nine metres together.
The project would be sited on what is currently grass space, next to the tennis court at the recreation ground. The land is not considered to be of particular geological importance.
The material surface would be permeable asphalt - its porous surface would allow 'sustainable drainage', and therefore make playing in the rain easier.
Tarmac, the company which produces the surface, describes it as "providing a smooth and consistent finish with a proven history of performance".
The hoops, meanwhile, would include a net and steel backboard, and were previously supplied to the English and Scottish Outdoor Basketball Initiatives.
Surrounding the courts would be a wire mesh fence measuring three metres in height.
The consultation expiry date for neighbours is Saturday 23 March. Give your feedback HERE. A decision on the plans is expected in April.
