A spot of time travel is in order at the Woodford AVRO Heritage Museum this weekend.

From Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th September, a 1940s-themed weekend will take place at the museum, featuring re-enactors, traders, entertainment, and much more.

It'll be an excellent way to immerse yourself in the era, and it'll cost you no more than the regular price of admission.

For standard admission price, you'll catch vintage traders, 1940s-themed entertainment, weapon demonstrations, food and drink, flyovers from Anson and T28 Trojan aircraft, living history displays, and more - all immaculately researched and presented.

Expect live entertainment, vintage traders, live museum exhibits, and more (Image supplied)

Further still, the rest of the museum exhibits will be open as usual.

Visitors and experts will be flocking to Woodford from across the country for this special event.

Full standard admission prices are £9 for adults, £7 for concessions (60+) £5 for children over 11, and free for under 11s. Alternatively, you can get a family ticket (two adults and two children) for £25.

Find more information on the AVRO Heritage Museum website.
