Art tribute to late local music legend Mani raises thousands for Stockport NHS charity
By Alasdair Perry 17th Feb 2026
An artistic tribute to the late local music legend Mani has helped to raise thousands of pounds for the Stockport NHS Charity.
Following the passing of the Stone Roses and Primal Scream bass player, local artist Mark Reynolds (AKA Stuff by Mark) decided to illustrate a tribute to the musician.
When fans and well-wishers got in touch with Mark asking to buy prints, he decided he would sell them with all proceeds going to the Stockport NHS Charity.
The charity helps enhance care at Stepping Hill Hospital and other NHS services in Stockport.
So far, Mark's art has helped raise an amazing total of £11,292 for the charity.
Both Mani himself and his late wife Imelda, who passed away in 2023, were major supporters of the charity.

Mark said: "Mani has been a big hero of mine ever since first hearing The Stone Roses as a teenager. His loss has been a tragedy felt by fans throughout the world.
"It's been an absolute privilege to have been able to help raise money for a cause so close to his heart. The response to the prints is a testament to the love people have for him, both for music he made and for the person he was."
Kate Leadbeater, Stockport NHS Charity Manager said: "Mark is a truly talented artist. This is the most amazing tribute to Mani and such a kind, generous, extraordinary special donation in memory of Imelda and Mani.
"We are extremely grateful and send our heartfelt thanks to Mark and each and every person who purchased a print."
