Stockport, nestled in a wind-beaten corner of the Pennines, is no stranger to adverse weather.

Thankfully, there's a local roofing company which has been helping to protect residents of Stockport and beyond from these tricky elements.

Meet NM Roofing, based in Reddish and founded by Nathan McCord.

Nathan's work takes him around the Stockport borough and beyond, dealing with roofs of all shapes, materials and sizes.

The business was established in 2023, with the aim of providing an 'honest and reliable' service.

And as Nathan explained, there's no job he doesn't enjoy.

"I do just really enjoy roofing", he said. "I started out on an apprenticeship and worked on other jobs before starting the business.

"It was a big jump, but we're always busy and we've never had a bad review."

Indeed, the business boasts a flawless five-star rating on Google reviews and on Facebook.

And with over a decade of experience, it's easy to see why.

For one, NM Roofing are always at pains to use the best possible materials for the job.

"There's other products that cost a little bit extra but are just that bit more quality", Nathan explained.

"We try not to scrimp - in the grand scale of things, those little details add up and make a big difference.

"For me, one of the best parts of the job is being able to showcase our work, and so we do everything with that in mind.

"We strive to provide quality workmanship."

Nathan is also a local lad himself, having grown up in Reddish - so customers can rest assured they are dealing with a truly local team who know the area well.

And when it comes to the area's roofs, the NM team really can tackle a huge range of jobs.

Whether it's small repairs or complete roof replacements, they can keep your roof fully watertight and give you peace of mind - especially with winter rolling in!

They're also on hand to offer advice and provide a free no obligation quote.

And further still, NM Roofing is fully insured and qualified through City & Guilds, and they even offer 10 year guarantees on all their new roofs.

"We've built a fantastic reputation for being a friendly point of call to our loyal customers", Nathan said.

"We get loads of recommendations as well, with lots of people hearing of us through word of mouth."
