From Participation to Performance - Drum Circle | Stockroom | Fri 4 September | 5.30-6.30pm

You don't need rhythm. You don't need an instrument. You just need to show up. Over 24 weeks, this circle will take people from their first nervous tap on a drum to genuine performance, the same journey Expression Concert Music Foundation has already proven works, one ward, one workshop, one concert at a time.
Bring a friend. Bring the kids. Bring nothing but your hands.
A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams | Chads Theatre, Cheadle Hulme | Sat 5 - Sat 12 September

Chads Theatre present this amateur production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
Powerful, poetic, and unflinchingly intense, A Streetcar Named Desire is a landmark of modern theatre that crackles with desire, delusion, and decay. When Blanche DuBois arrives in New Orleans seeking refuge with her sister Stella, she collides with the brutal, magnetic force of Stanley Kowalski setting in motion a devastating clash of fragility and raw power.
