New babies and mums in Stockport have been given a boost, thanks to a generous local company.

Online competitions firm Easy Winning Limited, who are a sponsor of Stockport Nub News, have just made a donation to Stepping Hill Hospital.

Easy Winning gifted the neonatal ward at Stepping Hill £100's worth of new bedding.

Easy Winning started during the pandemic, and have supported the NHS since the start. So it was a no brainer for Easy Winning Founder Charles Edwards to help out:

"Since we started Easy Winning, we have been very keen to support the community," said founder Charles Edwards.

"We hold two prize draws for charity every week, and let our players nominate the charity.

"We all know someone who has used Stepping Hill's amazing neonatal and maternity services, so we did not hesitate to help out with donating the new bedding.

"We are very grateful to be in a position to do this, and work with Stepping Hill. Thank you to everyone involved."

Stepping Hill's neonatal unit opened in November 2009, and provides state of the art intensive, high dependency and special care.  

Their high standards will be continued to be kept, with the bonus of the new bedding.

Sarah Bennett, neonatal sister at Stepping Hill Hospital said: "Everyone on the unit would like to say a big thank you to Easy Winning for this kind gift of bedding, it's a lovely gift for the babies in our care and will be appreciated by the parents too."
