As national maths confidence dips, maths only education specialist Mathnasium Bramhall has confirmed that 100 percent of its students passed their GCSE Maths this year - and fifty percent achieved above their predicted grade.

Mathnasium has centres across the world, including in Bramhall which opened seven years ago. Experienced instructors develop bespoke learning plans following assessment, and this tailored approach has helped hundreds of pupils bridge the grade gap.

Aileen Clarkson, Mathnasium Bramhall's owner - and the owner of two other centres in the USA - said: "Mathnasium students are celebrating some very positive results this year.

"All of our Bramhall students passed their GCSE Maths and half of them above their predicted grade, which is wonderful.

Aileen, who has a degree in Maths, used to teach numeracy for GCSE Maths students for an outreach programme at Stockport College.

Aileen confirms: "Many were adults who needed to retake, so I know how challenging the subject can be. However, with the right approach it is possible to make great progress and the Mathnasium Method™ offers that.

"One student joined our Bramhall centre when she was really struggling. A year on and she's grown in confidence. Her mum messaged me the day the results came out to say she'd passed – they were both over the moon."

During the holidays Mathnasium Bramhall offered a flexible Summer Programme and feedback has been excellent.

"Some students join us year after year for a summer boost and it's been very successful as they can use their tuition hours when it suits them", Aileen explained.

"Our short boost camps at Easter and Christmas also work well for those that are keen to work on specific areas. It's a targeted time spent ahead of a new term and ensures learning loss is avoided.

"Now it's October, for some students this time of year can mean going back to school with a bump. However, it's important to remember that the new term also represents a great time to address any summer learning loss and take a fresh approach to maths.

"At Mathnasium, our bespoke learning plans help students build the right skills whether that's mastering fractions, algebra or geometry. As understanding grows so too does confidence, problem solving and critical thinking ability.

"Our proven system delivered by our experienced team in a welcoming, friendly environment is specifically designed for students to achieve, and our numbers now demonstrate the success of our student-centred approach."

One Bramhall parent said: "One of the best things about Mathnasium is its personalised approach. Each child starts with an assessment, and lessons are tailored to their specific needs. Whether a student is struggling with basic concepts or looking to get ahead, the program adapts to help them succeed at their own pace."

Mathnasium Bramhall also often supports community events such as Light Up Bramhall and The Bramhall festival.

And recently, they welcomed a new centre manager; Ella Howard, a graduate of Cambridge University, will now run the centre with the support of the team's experienced instructors.

"I'm super excited to join the team", Ella said. "Our students GCSE results have been fantastic and I'm looking forward to supporting more children with their maths learning in this academic year."
