EVERY THIRD SATURDAY - 07:00 -13:00 (EXTRA HOURS AVAILABLE)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Stockport.

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £16.00 per hour
• Saturday : £20.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Operate and drive Class 2 HIAB vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Operate a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently
• Complete up to four deliveries per shift
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Hold a valid HIAB qualification
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles (insurance purposes)
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries will be beneficial

Training

• Driver's assessment must be completed
• Training provided on first shift
