We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Children's Residential Manager in Stockport for an 8 bed home.To lead and manage a children's residential home, ensuring high quality care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. The role focuses on safeguarding, theraupeutic support, and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.Key Responsbilities include:Leadership & management to oversee day-to-day operations of the homeProvide motivational leadership to staff, ensuring a positive and supportive cultureEnsure adherence to Children's Home Regulations, The Children Act 1989, and Ofsted standardsMaintain robust safeguarding proceduresImplement and manage systems for monitoring and improving care standardsPrepare for and manage Ofsted inspectionsRecruit, train and mentor staffConduct performance reviws and appraisalsManage financial performance and allocate resources effectivelyWork with social workers, health professionals, and education providers to support care plansYou will required a minimum of 2 years experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation and children's home regulationsFor this role of Residential Manager, there are no sponsorship opportunities and you will require a fully enhanced DBS, right to work in the UK and be able to provide a minimum of 2 years references.
