The Active Communities Manager will play an integral role in the development, implementation and monitoring of Stockport Council's Active Communities Strategy.
RTPI membership, or eligibility/working towards accreditation Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally within a local authority planning department Strong working knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy Demonstrated ability to handle a mixed caseload, including complex and sensitive applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational abilities and time management Experience in Green Belt and Conservation planning is essential A full, current UK driving licence is required for regular site visits
