Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer on behalf of our client in Stockport.

A high level of technical knowledge in expect whereby an associate director can authorise all types of technical report produced by GeoCon which include:

• Business Development, Bringing in new clients and work within the Manchester and Northwest area.
• Preparation of quotes, delegating and managing quotes with the quoting team.
• Maintaining and developing client relations.
• Phase I Preliminary Risk Assessments
• Phase II Site Investigation Reports
• Phase III Remediation Strategies
• Phase IV Validation and Verification (for both gas and land contamination)
• Coal Mining Risk Assessments
• Soakaway Investigations
• Combination of environmental and geotechnical report writing, both factual and interpretative, production of CSM and contaminated land risk assessments
• Knowledge and execution of all the above investigation techniques with a high level of technical understanding for each aspect, including site activities
• Mentoring junior staff
• Good management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Liaising with regulators and other stakeholders
• Day to day support and training supervision of more junior members of staff
• Assisting with day-to-day general office tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a senior Geo role
