NDT Technician
Role Overview:
Responsible for conducting MT, VT, RT, and PT non-destructive tests on products at various production stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control checks on fabricated materials to ensure timely compliance with quality standards.
- Review part prints, procedures, and instructions to carry out tests.
- Set up and conduct non-destructive tests to assess material characteristics and performance.
- Complete documentation, including reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure correct operation and calibration of testing equipment.
- Maintain records and ensure document control compliance.
- Participate in problem-solving activities to address identified defects.
- Provide guidance on product quality to production teams, keeping customer requirements in focus.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Candidate Requirements:
- PCN Level 2 qualification (minimum).
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in using quality instruments, such as weld gauges and micrometers.
- CSWIP 3.0 qualification (Visual Welding Inspector) is advantageous.
