Position Title: Milk Process Operator

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us: The organisation is a leader in the dairy industry, committed to providing high-quality dairy products to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Milk Process Operator to join our team and ensure the efficient and safe operation of our dairy processing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and Monitor Equipment: Operate and monitor equipment such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, separators, and packaging machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
  • Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of milk throughout the processing stages, including testing for temperature, pH levels, and visual inspection to ensure it meets industry and company standards.
  • Pasteurization: Perform pasteurization procedures to eliminate harmful bacteria while preserving the nutritional value and flavor of the milk.
  • Homogenization: Carry out homogenization processes to ensure uniform distribution of fat particles throughout the milk, maintaining consistency in texture and taste.
  • Separation: Operate separators to remove impurities and separate cream from milk, as necessary for various dairy products.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process deviations, taking corrective action to minimize downtime and ensure product quality and safety.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of processing activities, including production volumes, equipment maintenance, quality control tests, and any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Safety Adherence: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in process operation, preferably within the dairy or food industry.
  • Well-versed in safety protocols.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and food safety regulations is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000

Working hours: 4am-12pm (These hours can be flexible but must be available to work these hours)
