The perfect chance to joining an established and growing manufacturer that will offer job security and career development. Key Responsibilities that Set You Up for Success:

  • Supplier Coordination: Communicate daily with designated international suppliers to expedite material delivery, control inventory levels, and ensure timely shipments.
  • Report Management: Run and act on due and overdue reports, liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Production Liaison: Work closely with production teams to ensure that parts are shipped and returned in alignment with demand requirements.
  • Risk Management: Monitor lead times and volumes to mitigate stock risks and minimize production disruptions.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with engineering, projects, quality, and production departments to prevent obsolescence and resolve non-conformance issues efficiently.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Oversee return processes and manage export documentation to handle non-conformant products effectively.
  • Scheduling and Reporting: Ensure material deliveries align with current requirements, participate in production meetings, and report on progress and issues.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders as required by MRP to support project schedules.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within Supply Chain / Procurement role
  • Experience within Manufacturing, preferably metal fabrication
  • Strong MRP/ERP systems experience, preferably using SAP
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline desirable, but not essential
