A well-established and busy manufacturing company specialising in plastic components and products is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter Technician to join their growing team.

Up to £50,000, depending on shift pattern and experience.

With continued investment and a growing order book, the business is expanding its manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its production team. As an Injection Moulding Setter Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and downtime and scrap are kept to a minimum.

As an Injection Moulding Setter Technician, your duties will include:

• Condition setting machines and carrying out tool changes and colour changes
• Troubleshooting and resolving process, moulding and machine issues
• Carrying out first-off and last-off quality checks
• Overseeing and supporting a small team of operators

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter Technician, you will:

• Have previous experience within plastic injection moulding as a Setter or Technician
• Possess strong injection moulding processing knowledge, including tool changing, condition setting, process optimisation and troubleshooting
• Have a good understanding of a range of engineering polymers and their processing characteristics
